Co-Founder
She has led or advised on over 10 GW and $15 billion in clean energy transactions, including project-level financings, platform acquisitions, tax equity structures, and U.S. Department of Energy loan guarantees. Her work has supported the development and turnaround of some of the most complex renewable assets in the market, often involving distressed portfolios, legacy contract restructuring, or integration of new technologies into aging infrastructure.
Vy’s project development expertise is grounded in hands-on experience. She has directed the origination and execution of utility-scale solar and storage projects across the U.S., as well as international development efforts in sub-Saharan Africa and Southeast Asia. Her work includes negotiating offtake agreements, managing permitting and environmental review processes, overseeing technical studies, and coordinating with engineering and interconnection teams. She has also secured large-scale financing from commercial lenders, private equity, and development finance institutions.
Before co-founding Restore Energy, Vy held leadership positions at PA Consulting, FTI Consulting, and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E). At PG&E, she led procurement of over 1 GW of clean energy and storage resources and helped pioneer innovative contracting models for virtual capacity and system reliability. At PA and FTI, she advised utilities, developers, and institutional investors on platform acquisitions, capital raises, and clean technology deployment strategies—often at the intersection of commercial risk, regulatory design, and market reform.
Vy is a recognized thought leader in clean energy markets, with published work on storage valuation, tax credit optimization, and decarbonization strategies under the Inflation Reduction Act.
